What are Wall Fountains?- a type of water fountain attached to the wall either inside or outside your home or anywhere you have a wall space. They are decorative items fitting well in any room of the house from the living room to the bedroom, a personal choice as to where they may fit best within your home.
How do they work?- water is pumped around the wall fountain mechanically with a small pump from a tray or chamber at the bottom of the fountain. The water is recycled they do not require a connection into the main water supply. Its main components are a container, tiers, pump and water.
How do they get maintained?- once they have been attached to the wall, it is required that the water level should be kept correctly and the occasional cleaning of the pump. It is necessary to add a water softening agent to the water, helping the water to reduce limescale to keep the pump cleaner and this will then last longer.
What type of materials are they made from?- made from a number of different materials like marble, glass, limestone, copper, steel, slate, cement or stainless steel.
Do Wall Fountains have health benefits?- the sound of running water is a naturally relaxing, promoting a great sense of relaxation and ultimately a greater well being. Running water provides humidity in the air acting as a natural humidifier to improve the air quality and remove small particles of dust and other pollutants.
